Career

The Most Amazing Show was created and written by Louw and his creative partner Rob van Vuuren.

In 1998, he landed his debut role in the feature Adrenaline, when he met and connected with Rob van Vuuren.

The character Corné was already being developed at this stage. After a week of completing Adrenaline, Venter and Van Vuuren performed the first Most Amazing Show.

A few years later, together with Rob, Louw was the brain behind the directing and performance in two TV series. They also were the creators and held a performance in over two hundred live shows.

The duo toured the country and touched other places abroad including South Africa, Europe, and Seychelles with the Most Amazing Show.

He chose to focus on his work in film and as a writer. Louw is the brain behind creating and featuring in the television series Rugby Motors. He also co-created and was the head writer on the television series Liefste Kayla.

Louw was also cast in the feature Konfetti in a lead role, and he was the writer. He also landed the lead role as Hanneke Schutte in Jimmy in Pienk.

Other acting credits including Deon Meier as Die Laaste Tango, Jenna Bass as Love The One You Love, and Darrel J Roodt as Alles Wat Mal Is.

The Most Amazing Show became nominated for three South African Film and Television Awards (SAFTA). The show also received a South African Comedy Award.

He was cast in the film by John Boorman titled In My Country. Other career credits include copywriting, graphic designing, illustrating, acting, and writing.

In 2010, he appeared among the celebrity contestants on Survivor South Africa: Santa Carolina, an M-Net reality show.

After which, he landed a starring role as the idealist and dreamer Francois le Roux in Swartwater in 2014.
