Patrick Mofokeng (born 15 June 1969 in Cape Town) is an award-winning South African actor. His performance on screen has drawn the attention of many both viewers and producers.
One of his best-known performances on screen is in the television series Zone 14. He played the role of King Sibiya. Apart from the role, he has appeared in many other including Backstage, Yizo Yizo, isidingo, and Scandal.
He also made as a cast on season eleven of Soul City as Jimmy. As a veteran actor, he boasts of over 20 years in the entertainment industry.
He has appeared in movies where he was cast alongside big names in the local and international scene. In the film Who Am I? by Jackie Chan and was also cast as Brian Bhele in Netflix‘s series Blood & Water.

Patrick was born on 15 June 1969 in Cape Town, South Africa. His parents named him Patrick Mofokeng and raised him in the second-largest city in the country.
He relocated to Johannesburg, South Africa, and moved back to Cape Town to focus on his occupation.
Education
Patrick attended the CAP Arts School in Cape Town, South Africa, and graduated with a diploma in drama.
To supplement his acting experience and exposure, he had many international lessons.
Career
The veteran actor is popular for appearing as King Sibiya in the TV drama series Zone 14. As an actor, he has gained ground for appearing in many films and television series.
Patrick has also landed several guest roles in many series including Scandal!, Backstage, Isidingo, and Yizo Yizo. In 2006, he was cast as Solomon Sithole in the second film “The Good Provider” of the Heartlines Series.
The same year, he appeared in the miniseries titled When We Were Black as Reverend Serote.
He also appeared on screen in the 90s. In the 1997 made-for-television movie titled Pride of Africa.
Still, in the nineties, he appeared in the film by Hong-Kong actor Jackie Chan titled Who Am I?
In 2005, Mofokeng made an appearance appeared in the film Man To Man.
At the 2007 South African Film and Television Academy Awards, he took home a Golden Horn award for Best Actor in TV Drama. His role in The Good Provider earned him recognition.
He was cast as Gerald Judge in the 2008 feature film Surprise. Patrick also played the role of Jimmy in season eleven of Soul City. The character on the SABC1 AIDS drama is a local part-time electrician.
